Validation
So, between the stress of the political discourse in our country, a house that looks like a thousand mini-tornadoes went off, deadlines, deadlines, deadlines, the paralysis that comes with being my own worst critic, and the realization that both my babies start school for the first time next week, I was *just* shy of going bat-shit crazy this morning.
Then my husband sent me this video (thanks Ben). It took the sting out of my day. I would even dare to say, gave me a new outlook on how to deal with people and life. And, trust me, that is hard for me, a glass half empty, why did you rain on my parade, damn, I suck, what the hell is wrong with the world, everyone can just suck my big toe general attitude, to say. It certainly doesn’t hurt that I think TJ Thyne has a smile that could light up a room and eyes that could melt steel. If you have 15 minutes, watch it. It might take the sting out of your day too. Interesting concept. Feel free to discuss.
I watched that when you posted it this morning. I really liked it. Thank yo for posting it.

You know, I usually don’t have 15 minutes to spare (or at least I never feel like I do) but that was exactly the 15 minute “smile” I needed at the end of a very trying week.
Thank you. That was great.

Stretch and I watched this while he was supposed to be doing English. It made him smile, and that’s awfully hard when he’s being forced to write an essay.
